Plan to spend about an hour. You will taste a selection of from-scratch cakes and fillings, talk through your colors and theme, and look at directions for the design. Bring photos, fabric swatches, or anything that captures the look you love.
By the end, you will have chosen your flavors and a clear design direction. The $55 tasting fee credits toward your booked commission, so it becomes part of the cake itself.
